Teaser Poster
Anyone who lives, as I do, in a world of imagination must make an enormous and unnatural effect to be factual in the ordinary sense. I confess I would be a terrible witness in court because of this-and a terrible journalist. I feel compelled to a story the way I see it and this is seldom the way it happened, in all its documentary detail.
I discovered that what’s really important for a creator isn’t what we vaguely define as inspiration or even what it is we want to say, recall, regret, or rebel against. No, what’s important is the way we say it. Art is all about craftsmanship. Others can interpret craftsmanship as style if they wish. Style is what unites memory or recollection, ideology, sentiment, nostalgia, presentiment, to the way we express all that. It’s not what we say but how we say it that matters. Federico Fellini.

as an idea.
It's better not to know so much about what things mean or how they might be interpreted or you'll be too afraid to let things keep happening. Psychology destroys the mystery, this kind of magic quality. It can be reduced to certain neuroses or certain things, and since it is now named and defined, it's lost its mystery and the potential for a vast, infinite experience.

THE BLUE BIRD
Tam Shin
THE BLUE BIRD is a personal approach about two neighbors that lead two separate stories. Yumi and Yu-min are both experiencing the loss of meaning and reasoning in social order. Yumi questions the idea of love after recently suffering from betrayal. Yu-min is a frustrated photographer, living through a psychological crisis, finding his method to connect with his personal mental psyche. The director enters the hidden world of our subconscious mind portraying philosophy through our incomprehensible, visual dreams.
